Air India raises pilot pay up to 15% to curb resignations: Report

Tata Group-owned Air India and Air India Express have raised pilot salaries by 9-15% to curb attrition amid hiring pressure from IndiGo and Middle Eastern airlines, The Economic Times reported. Senior pilots flying around 40 hours a month will now earn nearly ₹7 lakh. The pay hikes could trigger similar increases across Indian carriers.
