Air India to pay ₹50,000 to couple for broken business class seats bought for ₹8 lakh

A consumer court in Chandigarh asked Air India to pay ₹50,000 as compensation to two senior citizens who were forced to sit on broken seats on an Air India flight from New York to Delhi. The court noted that one of the complainants was disabled. It said the couple suffered inconvenience despite paying ₹8 lakh to the airlines.
