Air travel to get costlier as OMCs plan to hike fuel price: Report
Flight tickets can get costlier as oil marketing companies (OMCs) are expected to hike jet fuel prices in April, CNBC-TV18 reported. Major carriers such as SpiceJet, IndiGo, Akasa Air, Air India, and Air India Express have imposed fuel surcharges on both international and domestic routes. Operational disruptions due to US-Israel-Iran war and surge in oil prices are increasing carriers' trials.
