AirAsia directed to pay ₹90,750 to Kerala farmer after flight delay damages rare jackfruit sapling

A consumer commission in Kerala's Palakkad directed AirAsia to pay ₹90,750 to a farmer after a delayed flight damaged a rare hybrid jackfruit sapling he was carrying from Indonesia. The delay made him miss his connecting flight to Kerala in Kuala Lumpur. He was allegedly told next flight was three days later but secured a seat himself the next day.
