Airbnb confirms investment in OYO's Series E funding round

US-based home-renting platform Airbnb confirmed it has invested an undisclosed amount in Gurugram-based hospitality startup OYO Rooms in its Series E funding round. As per reports, the deal is estimated to be worth $150-200 million. Launched in 2013 by Ritesh Agarwal, OYO had raised $1 billion from investors including Japan's SoftBank and Sequoia Capital in 2018.
