Airbnb hires Apple’s ex-design chief Jony Ive and his new firm

Home rental platform Airbnb said on Thursday it is hiring Apple's former Chief Design Officer Jony Ive and his firm LoveFrom to build "a multi-year relationship to design the next generation of Airbnb products and services." Ive was at Apple from 1996 to 2019, and was at the helm of launching the iPhone, iMac and Apple Watch, among others.
