Airbnb host in US said he spent ₹6.5 lakh to fix stain, it's insurance fraud: Author

Author Luke Burgis claimed that after he stayed at an Airbnb in New York, the host claimed he spent $7,500 (₹6.5 lakh) to fix a small stain. Luke called it insurance fraud. "Airbnb is saying that if we don't pay the claim by January 31...they're just debiting my card $1,000 and then someone...will reach about the rest," he added.
