Airbnb questioned by US lawmakers over business in China's Xinjiang

Two US lawmakers have raised concerns about home rental firm Airbnb's business activities in Xinjiang region, where China is accused of committing genocide against Uighur Muslims. The lawmakers cited an Axios report stating that Airbnb hosts homes in the region on land owned by an organisation sanctioned by US. Recently, Tesla was criticised after it opened a showroom in Xinjiang.
