Airbound plans 10,000 drone flights/day in Andhra, says 'Our goal is to beat trucks'

The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday signed an MoU with Bengaluru-based aerospace startup Airbound to launch a large-scale drone delivery network across the Amaravati Capital Region. The project aims to handle 10,000 drone flights a day, speeding up the movement of healthcare supplies and commercial goods. "Our goal is to beat the efficiency of trucks," Airbound CEO Naman Pushp said.
