Airbus A340 lands on Antarctica's blue glacial ice runway for the first time

An Airbus A340 plane landed on an Antarctic blue glacial ice runway for the first time earlier this month. Portuguese charter airline Hi Fly was behind the flight from Cape Town to Antarctica and back. Captain Carlos Mirpuri and his crew flew the widebody aircraft to deliver much-needed supplies to an upscale adventure camp named Wolf's Fang.
