Airbus close to win record deal from IndiGo for 500 jets: Report

Airbus is close to winning a contract for 500 narrow-body A320-family jets from IndiGo, Reuters reported. This contract could potentially surpass the record set by Air India through its recent deal to buy 470 planes from Airbus and Boeing, the report said. IndiGo has so far ordered 830 A320-family jets, of which about 500 jets are yet to be delivered.
