Airbus reveals its blended wing plane design after secret flight tests

Airbus on Tuesday unveiled an aircraft design that blends wing and body, aimed to cut carbon emissions by around 20%. The French planemaker displayed a 3.2-metre-wide demonstrator model codenamed Maveric at the Singapore Air Show. Airbus has been test flying the model at a secret location in central France since June last year.
