AIRCARE study explores pollution-lung cancer link in India

A new research initiative, AIRCARE, led by AIIMS New Delhi, is studying the link between air pollution and rising lung cancer cases in India. The study will examine over 1,600 patients to understand how long-term exposure to PM2.5 and other pollutants increases cancer risk, especially among non-smokers, women, and young adults.
