Airlines can give discounts to domestic flyers with no check-in baggage: DGCA

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has allowed airlines to give concessions in ticket prices to passengers who carry no baggage or only cabin baggage. Passengers can get discounts by declaring the weight of baggage they'll be carrying while booking the ticket. However, such passengers will be charged if they turn up at the airport with check-in luggage.
