Airports on high alert over possible terror attack

India's Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has sent an alert to all the airports and airlines over a possible terror attack ahead of new year celebrations. "Instances have occurred in the past when this period has been chosen by terrorists," the BCAS alert stated. The intelligence was also sent to state police chiefs and all the concerned intelligence agencies.
