Airtel & Vi get ₹10,500-crore relief after HC verdict on spectrum charges

Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea quantified the financial relief arising from the Bombay High Court's verdict on the government's one-time spectrum charge (OTSC) demands from the firms, at more than ₹10,500 crore combined. This verdict will inadvertently improve the finances of both Airtel and Vodafone Idea. It will eliminate the massive contingent liability that had remained unresolved since 2013.
