Airtel, Vodafone to get AI-enabled spam filters for calls, texts

Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea are in final stages of installing AI-enabled spam filters in their networks. While Vodafone completed trial of its spam filter, Airtel trials are still ongoing with a global company. This comes after Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) asked telecom companies to reverify registered message templates and block unverified templates within 30 and 60 days.
