Airtel's profit falls 4.9% to ₹1.4k cr in Sept quarter

India’s biggest mobile service provider Bharti Airtel’s net profit fell 4.9% year-on-year to ₹1,460.7 crore for the quarter ended September 30. However, its average revenue per user rose to ₹201 in the quarter from ₹193 in the year-ago period. The telco's total revenue from operations also rose 3.42% to ₹24,651.5 crore from ₹23,835.7 crore a year ago.
