Ajinkya Rahane reaches 1,000 runs as captain in IPL

KKR's Ajinkya Rahane crossed 1,000 runs in the IPL as a captain after scoring 67 runs off 40 balls against MI on March 29. Apart from KKR, he has previously captained RR and now-defunct RPS, playing a total of 39 matches and scoring 1,040 runs with an average of 29.71. Rahane has six fifties and a hundred as captain.
