Ajinkya Rahane sold to KKR for 3 times his IPL 2024 salary

Batter Ajinkya Rahane who earlier went unsold in the IPL 2025 auction, was bought by KKR at his base price of ₹1.5 crore. Notably, Rahane represented CSK in IPL 2023 and 2024 at the price of ₹50 lakh. Rahane has scored 4,642 runs in 185 matches in IPL so far. He has represented six teams in the IPL so far.
