Ajit Agarkar appointed as Team India chief selector

Former Team India pacer Ajit Agarkar has been appointed the chief selector of Team India. He was unanimously recommended for the post by the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) comprising Sulakshana Naik, Ashok Malhotra and Jatin Paranjape. Shiv Sundar Das was the interim chief selector after Chetan Sharma resigned from the post in February.
