Ajit's NCP backs BJP's Fadnavis for Maharashtra CM post: Reports

Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has backed BJP's Devendra Fadnavis for the post of Maharashtra CM, multiple reports said, after their alliance won the Assembly elections with a huge majority. Incumbent CM Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena is, however, reportedly demanding his return to the top post. There are reports of a BJP legislative meeting scheduled for Monday in Delhi.
