Akal Takht declares AAP MLA 'Tankhaiya' over objectionable religious remarks

The Akal Takht, a Sikh religious body, declared AAP MLA Manwinder Singh Giaspura "Tankhaiya" over his alleged objectionable remarks against Sikh religious institutions. This comes after Giaspura was denied entry to the Akal Takht secretariat on October 12, which he termed "caste-based discrimination." Notably, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann was also declared "Guru Dokhi" by the body in June.
