Akash can return to BSP if father-in-law Siddharth quits politics: Mayawati

BSP chief Mayawati said her nephew Akash Anand will be given party responsibilities again only if his father-in-law, former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth, retires from politics. Mayawati accused Siddharth of repeatedly putting personal and family interests ahead of the BSP's mission. This follows Akash's removal as the party's chief national coordinator for the third time since 2024.
