Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav likened police action on students protesting against the NEET-UG paper leak to Emergency, stating that the protests will result in bringing down the government. Akhilesh was responding to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, who had asked which is better, bringing an anti-paper leak bill or suppressing students' protests like it was done during the Emergency.
