Akshardham attack accused arrested after 15 years in Gujarat

The Ahmedabad Crime Branch on Saturday arrested Ajmeri Abdul Rashid, one of the key accused in the terror attack on Gandhinagar's Akshardham temple, 15 years after the attack. Rashid was arrested from the airport after landing from Riyadh. Around 32 people were killed and over 80 injured in the 2002 siege, conducted by two terrorists who were neutralised by NSG.
