Akshay slams racism, says 'Those from Northeast are Indians too'

During an episode of 'Wheel of Fortune India', host Akshay Kumar condemned the racism faced by people from Northeast India. While referring to the lived experience of his Manipuri makeup artist, he said, "I'm convinced that these things [still] happen." He stated, "They're as much Indians as I am, as you are, and as everyone sitting here...They've given their blood."
