Al-Aqsa mosque closed for Eid prayers for first time in about 60 yrs

For the first time in nearly 60 years, the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem was closed for Eid prayers. Recently a video also surfaced showing Israeli authorities in Jerusalem attacking Palestinians who gathered to worship outside the mosque. Israel has kept holy sites in Old City closed to worshippers of all faiths during its war with Iran, citing security concerns.
