Alarm for human-animal conflict: Gogoi on Assam elephants' death

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi expressed serious concern over the deaths of eight elephants in Assam after a collision with the Rajdhani Express on Saturday. "The incident is deeply concerning and underscores the growing challenge of human-animal conflict in the state," he posted on X. "Unplanned and poorly regulated development..under the present government has led to shrinking forest cover," he added.
