Alaska Senate candidate Peltola injured in car crash

Alaska Democratic Senate candidate Mary Peltola and her family sustained minor injuries Saturday night when another driver hit their vehicle en route to the Alaska Federation of Natives Annual Banquet. On doctors' advice, she is rescheduling campaign events in Fairbanks and Bethel, delaying the start of her seven-day 'Alaska Always Tour' ahead of midterms.
