Albania PM Rama refuses to resign amid violent protests

Albanian PM Edi Rama has refused to resign despite six days of protests in Tirana over poor university conditions, high tuition fees, and corruption. Clashes between protesters and police have left 272 injured since October 13. Rama blamed "outside hands" for the unrest. The US embassy and European Commission urged restraint and peaceful dialogue.
