Alexander Schallenberg sworn in as Austria's new Chancellor

Alexander Schallenberg was sworn in as Austria's new Chancellor on Monday after his predecessor, Sebastian Kurz, resigned amid corruption allegations on Saturday. Schallenberg, who had earlier served as the country's Foreign Minister, said that he would continue to work closely with Kurz. Michael Linhart, who served as Austria's Ambassador to France, was named the new Foreign Minister.
