Alexander Zverev becomes oldest first-time world no. 1 in 52 years
German tennis player Alexander Zverev became the world number one for the first time in his career. At age 29, he's the oldest player in 52 years to achieve the feat since ex-Australian tennis player John Newcombe, who reached the top rankings at age 30 in 1974. Zverev is second German to achieve the feat in singles after Boris Becker.
