Alfa-X, world’s fastest bullet train hit speeds of up to 249mph

Japan recently announced that it has started testing its fastest-ever shinkansen bullet train. Alfa-X (stands for Advanced Labs for Frontline Activity in rail eXperimentation) is expected to go into service by 2030. The next-generation Shinkansen is capable of reaching speeds up to 400 kilometers (249 miles) per hour.
