Alibaba hikes AI-service prices up to 34% after demand soars

Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba will raise prices for its T-Head AI chips and Cloud Parallel File Storage service amid strong demand and rising infrastructure costs. The chip prices will increase by 5% to 34%, while storage services will cost 30% more. The move came after it launched a major structural revamp this month to focus on monetising AI.
