Alibaba-backed AutoX gets permit for driverless testing in California

Alibaba-backed self-driving vehicle startup AutoX has received the permit to begin driverless testing on public roads in a limited area in San Jose, California. It is the third company to receive a driverless testing permit in California after Waymo and Nuro. AutoX's vehicle will have to operate with a speed limit of no more than 45 miles/hour.
