Alibaba's Global Managing Director joins Paytm board

Digital payments platform Paytm has brought Alibaba Global Managing Director K Guru Gowrappan to its board. Gowrappan, who focuses on Alibaba's products and strategy for international markets, will guide business, product and technology teams at Paytm, the Noida-based startup said in a statement. Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba is said to be the largest investor in Paytm.
