Alipay, WeChat Pay, 6 other Chinese apps banned in US

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning transactions with eight Chinese apps, including Ant Group's Alipay and WeChat Pay. The order states that data collected by these apps could be used by China to track the locations of federal employees and contractors. US must take "aggressive action" against these app developers to protect national security, it added.
