After receiving the Padma Bhushan, veteran singer Alka Yagnik opened up about her battle with a rare hearing disorder caused by a sudden viral attack. She said, "For the last two years, I've stayed away from...public appearances...I'm going through a difficult health [phase]." She expressed gratitude for being honoured with the award and said, "I'm slowly finding my way back."
