All 17 prisoners recaptured after jailbreak in TN, to be moved to high-security jails

All 17 prisoners who escaped from Thekkampatti sub-jail in Tamil Nadu's Theni district have been recaptured, police said. Authorities have begun transferring the inmates to high-security prisons across the state, police added on Thursday. The prisoners escaped around 10 pm on Monday after staging a medical emergency by pretending one inmate was having an epileptic seizure.
