All 7 convicted in 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots case given life sentence

The seven people convicted of killing two cousin brothers in Uttar Pradesh's Kawal village have been sentenced to life imprisonment. The incident is believed to have triggered the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots that left over 60 people dead and displaced over 40,000. The cousins were murdered after allegedly stabbing to death a youth who had been eve teasing their sister.
