All about the Cuauhtémoc ship that collided with Brooklyn Bridge
The Cuauhtemoc, a 91-meter (297ft) long and 12-meter (40ft) wide vessel launched in 1982, traditionally undertakes training voyages for naval cadets after their academy courses. This year's voyage began on April 6th from Acapulco, Mexico, with Iceland as its intended final destination. A power failure occurred around 8:20 pm local time, leading to the devastating collision.
