All accused acquitted in Kerala constable murder case

Muthanga case ended with all surviving accused cleared of Kerala police constable KV Vinod’s murder, with court saying prosecution failed to prove the case. Four people, however, were convicted and sentenced to five years in prison for abduction, assault and attempted murder of two witnesses. Vinod’s family has rejected verdict and plans to challenge it.
