All agency banks to stay open for public on March 31: RBI

RBI has directed all agency banks dealing with government transactions to remain open to the public on March 31, 2025 (Monday). The directive is to ensure that all government transactions are properly accounted for within the FY25 itself, which ends on March 31. Banks were supposed to be closed on March 31 in most states due to Eid-ul-Fitr.
