All firecrackers are not banned, those with barium salts are prohibited: SC

The Supreme Court on Friday said that there was no total ban on firecrackers' use and only those crackers that are harmful to the health of citizens are banned. Asserting that crackers with barium salts are prohibited, SC said, "Celebration cannot be at the cost of others' health." It directed states/UTs to strictly implement a ban on harmful crackers.
