All I'll ever call myself is a film director: Imtiaz Ali

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali said the only way he describes himself is as a film director. Speaking on the podcast, he explained that the label alone reveals he is morally ambiguous, apolitical and deeply interested in stories, imagination and human nature. A director, he argued, must at the very minimum be genuinely interested in people and the stories they carry.
