All schools in UP to remain shut till January 1 amid cold wave

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered closure of all schools up to Class 12 until January 1 amid severe cold wave, PTI reported citing official statement. The order applies to all CBSE, ICSE, and UP Board schools across the state. Safety of children is paramount during cold wave, CM clarified, adding that any negligence in this regard won't be tolerated.
