Allahabad HC judge, criticised by SC, gave bail in 508 dowry death cases: Report

Allahabad High Court judge, Justice Pankaj Bhatia, who the Supreme Court criticised in February for granting bail in one dowry death case, had ordered bail in 508 of 510 similar cases heard by him between October and December 2025, IE reported. Justice Bhatia had requested the CJI not to assign him the bail roster after SC set his order aside.
