Allahabad HC questions UP govt's authority to seal mosque without giving notice

Allahabad HC raised questions over sealing of a mosque by UP government, asking whether such action can be taken without prior notice. The petitioner said he had purchased the land through registered sale deed and began constructing a mosque on it, however, authorities sealed the premises, citing illegal construction. The HC asked under what authority of law this was done.
