Kota's famous coaching chain, Allen Career Institute, has scooped up Doubtnut, a six-year-old startup that helps students solve science and maths problems. Doubtnut most likely got a sliver of the Rs 1,141-crore ($137 million) valuation that it achieved during its last round of funding. Allen, a largely offline player, hopes to leverage Doubtnut's user base for its digital learning products.
